1. SERVICES PROVIDED
S Squared Automotive provides diagnostic, maintenance, and repair services for a variety of vehicles, including but not limited to engine repairs, brake services, electrical diagnostics, suspension work, and routine maintenance.


2. ESTIMATES AND APPROVALS
Written or verbal estimates are provided upon request before any work is started. All repairs over $100 require customer approval before proceeding. Estimates are subject to change based on further diagnostics or discovery of additional issues during repair.


3. PARTS AND LABOR
All parts used are either OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) or high-quality aftermarket, based on availability and customer preference.
Labor charges are billed by flat rate or hourly, depending on the nature of the job. A warranty of 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first, applies to most parts and labor unless otherwise stated.


4. PAYMENT TERMS
Full payment is due upon completion of service, prior to vehicle release. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and certified checks. Personal checks may require prior approval. Vehicles left unpaid after 7 days may incur a storage fee of $25 per day. After 30 days, unpaid balances may result in a mechanic’s lien and vehicle sale per Kentucky state law.


5. WARRANTY POLICY
Our limited warranty covers defects in parts and workmanship under normal use and service.
Warranty does not cover damage due to abuse, accidents, neglect, unauthorized modifications, or use of
parts not installed by us. Customer must retain original receipt and return to our shop for any warranty claims.


6. CUSTOMER-SUPPLIED PARTS
We may allow customers to supply their own parts; however, there is no warranty on parts not purchased through S Squared Automotive.
Labor charges may be higher for installations involving customer-supplied parts.

7. STORAGE AND ABANDONMENT
Vehicles must be picked up within 3 business days after service completion unless prior arrangements are made. After 30 days, vehicles not picked up may be considered abandoned and subject to legal proceedings under KRS Chapter 376 for disposal or sale.


8. LIABILITY
S Squared Automotive is not responsible for loss or damage to vehicles or items left in vehicles due to fire, theft, or any other cause beyond our control.
We recommend removing all personal items from the vehicle prior to service.


9. TOWING AND ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE
Towing services may be arranged at customer’s request and expense. We are not liable for any damage incurred during third-party towing services.


10. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Any disputes arising from services rendered will first attempt to be resolved through informal negotiations. If unresolved, disputes will be subject to mediation or binding arbitration in Daviess County, Kentucky, in accordance with local laws.


11. CHANGES TO TERMS
S Squared Automotive reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time.
Customers will be notified of significant changes via email or signage at the shop.


12. PHOTOS AND VIDEO CONSENT
S Squared Automotive may take photos or videos of vehicles while in our care for purposes such as
documentation, training, or marketing (including website and social media use). No identifying personal information (license plate, VIN, etc.) will be publicly shared without prior consent. If you do not consent to media being captured or used, a written notice must be provided **before any services are performed**. Without such notice, you grant S Squared Automotive permission to document and use media responsibly.
